摘要: The thermohaline circulation of the ocean is a process that generates giant flow pattern in which water moves around planet. Recently, dire predictions and Hollywood movies have raised public consciousness impact flows on climate change. In their Perspective, Hansen et al . discuss recent observations suggest although may be weakening, might lead to cooling northern Europe, compensating effects make picture richer more complex difficult predict than previously thought.
