摘要: SILER is a Collaborative Project, partially funded by the European Commission, aimed at studying risk associated to seismic initiated events in Generation IV Heavy Liquid Metal reactors and developing adequate protection measures. The attention focused on evaluation of effects earthquakes (with particular regards beyond design events) identification mitigation strategies, acting both structures components (as well as development isolation devices) which can also have positive economics, leading an high level plant standardization. Attention devoted layout solutions able avoid risks radioactive release from core other (i.e. spent fuel storage pools). Specific effort paid guidelines recommendations for addressing issue next generation reactor systems. In addition, consideration will be transfer knowledge developed project III advanced systems, line with objective SNE-TP SRA support present future Light Water Reactors their further development, safety issues are key aspects addressed. Note, thismore » respect, that benefits base terms response actions already widely recognized LWRs, along possibility significant standardization structural equipment design. activities started October 1 st 2011 carried out 18 partners: ENEA (Italy, Coordinator), AREVA NP SAS (France), SCK-CEN (Belgium), FIP Industriale (Italy), MAURER SOHENE (Germany), EC-JRC (Ispra (Italy)), SINTEC KTH (Sweden), BOA-BKT IDOM (Spain), ANSALDO IPUL (Latvia), NUMERIA VCE (Austria), SRS CEA EA NUVIA (France).
