摘要: Transmission voltage-level photovoltaic (PV) plants are becoming reality in many developed and developing countries around the world. Studies suggest that large-scale PV could have either positive or negative influence on low-frequency oscillation (LFO) depending their locations sizes. Given fact these cannot be placed ideal to minimize impact LFO, it is important consider designing a damping controller for flawless integration. In this paper, minimax linear quadratic Gaussian-based power damper (POD) plant proposed interarea damping. A benchmark system prone oscillations used demonstrate performance of designed considering feedback signal transmission delay. The evaluated under different operating conditions as compared classical POD at plant. Simulation results provides sufficient mode wide range conditions.
