摘要: Over the past decade, economic and agricultural growth in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) has resumed. The secular downward trend prices ended early 1990s; growing incomes Asia Africa, combined with continued rapid population growth, are fueling food demand, which is expected to lead a gradual upward international real prices. For major opportunities will be regional domestic markets for staples. Economic have resumed despite high population, AIDS crisis, onset of measurable climate change. Climate change provide both challenges opportunities, countries need strengthen their general capacities deal stresses weather shocks line development priorities. Population adds challenge increasing per capita income feeding Africa. It also drive further intensification many place led improvements, rather than deterioration natural resource base. fight against HIV rural areas lagging badly intensified via participatory approaches prevention, expansion treatment areas, massive improvements safety nets. To seize that derive from recent policy price trends, SSA support sound macroeconomic policies, investment climate, investments infrastructure institutions.
