摘要: OBJECTIVE: To compare the short- and long-term rates of stroke-and/or-death associated with primary angioplasty alone stent placement using a meta-analysis published studies. Both have been proposed as treatment strategies for symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic disease to reduce risk best medical alone. However, it remains unclear which these endovascular techniques offers reduction. METHODS: We identified pertinent studies between January 1980 May 2008 search on PubMed Cochrane libraries, supplemented by review bibliographies selected publications. The incidences were estimated each report pooled both at 1 month year postintervention then compared random-effects model. association publication 1-year incidence was analyzed meta-regression. RESULTS: After applying our selection criteria, we included 69 (33 angioplasty-alone [1027 patients] 36 [1291 patients]) in analysis. There total 91 stroke-and/or-deaths reported angioplasty-alone-treated group (8.9%; 95% confidence interval [CI], 7.1%-10.6%), 104 angioplasty-with-stent-treated (8.1 %; CI, 6.6%-9.5%) during 1-month period (relative [RR], 1.1; P = 0.48). patients treated 19.7% (95% 16.6%-23.5%), 14.2% 11.9%-16.9%) (RR, 1.39; 0.009). technical success 79.8% 74.7%-84.8%) 93.4%-96.6%) 0.84; < 0.0001). restenosis rate 11.8-16.6%) group, 11.1 % 9.2%-13.0%) 1.28; 0.04). no effect stroke-and/or-death. CONCLUSION: Risk angiographic may be lower atherosclerosis
