摘要: BACKGROUND: There is considerable disagreement over the effects of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) on left ventricular diastolic function that has necessitated investigation indices. The present study was conducted to evaluate and its indices, three months after performing PCI procedure in patients with artery disease (CAD). METHODS: In a quasi-experimental clinical trial (before after), 51 CAD scheduled for elective were investigated provided their Ejection Fraction (EF) > 30%. Before PCI, echocardiography carried out indices including E/Ea as most important criteria diagnosis heart failure (DHF). RESULTS: Based number DHF decreased significantly: 40 (78.4%) before versus 28 (54.9%) (p<0.05). Mean Standard error deceleration time (DT), isovolumic relaxation (IVRT), early mitral annulus velocity; Ea (E'), ejection (LVEF) underwent significant changes. addition, MVA dur/PVA dur, PVs/PVd, had changed significantly both genders. However, no difference reported other CONCLUSION: ratio an criterion improved PCI. Improvement several observed procedure. It can be concluded effective treatment modality
