摘要: Nowadays, a large number of video text detection systems have been developed for daily used applications such as transportation surveillance, electronic payment, traffic safety detection, sport videos retrieval, and even commercial online advertisements, in which the existing closed-circuit television, road-rule enforcement cameras, or can be data sources. These same requirement content analysis, automatic is believed an essential task. The detected texts recognized using OCR further passed to speech system, potentially has other usages providing services blind people navigation drivers. This chapter introduces several typical real-life applications, including license plate recognition, assistance, advertising. discussed techniques these similarly adopted by extended many person identification from videos, E-education E-meeting, karaoke music entertainments.
