摘要: Abstract Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus was isolated for the first time in South Africa February 1981, from blood of a 13-year-old boy who died Johannesburg after attending camp nature reserve western Transvaal. Virus 21/120 pools questing ticks reserve, infected species being Hyalomma marginatum rufipes and H. truncatum. also 4/38 partially engorged other ectoparasites collected off hosts, H.m. rufipes, truncatum Rhipicephalus evertsi.
