摘要: Removal of toxic Cr(VI) from contaminated water is significant for environmental protection. High efficient adsorbents with outstanding adsorption performance are highly demanded. Herein, we reported that window-like structured carbon hollow fibers (WL-CHF) derived Enteromorpha prolifera could capture aqueous solutions high capacity, fast rate, and excellent recyclable performance. The be attributed to the unique structure combines a variety advantages: large specific surface area, diffusion processes, easy access sites Cr(VI). In addition, process was fitted well pseudo-second-order model Langmuir isotherm model. potential mechanism on removal includes reduction-cation exchange electrostatic interaction oxygen-containing functional groups. This study highlights new opportunities designing Cr-polluted water.
