摘要: A system and a method for computerized automated acquisition of the Glasgow Coma Score (GCS) quantifying level consciousness following traumatic brain injury performs assessment GCS critically ill patients on periodic basis. Based measurement stimulus-induced standard physiological verbal responses patient such as EMG, EOG simple utterances, produces coma score, which corresponds one-to-one with score obtained by human assessors. The apparatus used degree in comprises computer having program stored therein to assess patient, at least one electrode coupled sensing physical response, speaker producing an audio signal, microphone configured sense response from pain stimulator generate stimulus patient. using steps recording computer, being characterizable nature, analyzing nature determine categorizing dependent categorization response.
