Mathematical optimization techniques for resource allocation in cognitive radio networks

摘要: Introduction of data intensive multimedia and interactive services together with exponential growth wireless applications have created a spectrum crisis. Many occupancy measurements, however, shown that most the allocated are used inefficiently indicating radically new approaches required for better utilization spectrum. This motivates concept opportunistic sharing or so-called cognitive radio technology has great potential to improve utilization. This allows secondary users access which is licensed in order transmit their own signal without harmfully affecting users' communications. In this thesis, an optimal resource allocation algorithm proposed OFDM based underlay networks. The optimally allocates transmission power subchannels at basestation satisfy quality interference leakage constraints on integer linear programming. To reduce computational complexity, novel recursive suboptimal optimization framework. exploit spatial diversity, algorithms extended MIMO-OFDM network. Finally, multiplexing technique developed allocate resources network consists both real time non-real users. Conditions convergence analytically derived. performance all these verified using MATLAB simulation results.
