摘要: Most measures and indexes of industrial agglomeration, concentration specialization are variations the Gini's index may be limited in scope structure. Rarely, if ever, they include any reference to territorial dimensions tend volumes adjusted for the task at end. They do not embody information relative density size analyzed regions. Alternatively some authors use just as a measure agglomeration ignoring related dimensionalities volume size. These shortcomings bring about both di¢ culties interpreting results distorted pictures actual regional structure an area. Regional dimensionality is particularly relevant for researchers focusing on analytical aspects connected with concentration. The present paper introduces encompassing volume, den- sity region dimensionality. Such built simple heuristic notion mass would provide more reliable, accurate fexible instrument than previous measures. JEL Classifcation: C22, C32, C50, E24, E32, J63.
