Effect of homogenization treatment on microstructure and hot workability of high strength 7B04 aluminium alloy

摘要: The effects of homogenization treatment on microstructure, overburnt temperature and hot rolling plasticity high strength 7B04 aluminium alloy were investigated. Under the condition at 470℃, starting melting primary eutectics in ingot non-equilibium solidified is 478℃. Using two-step processing ultra-high which comprises heating ingots to 470℃ 10℃/h holding for 64h, then 500℃ 1℃/h 10h, could safely pass sensitive zone between 480℃ 495℃, ordinary burnt phenomena 495℃ does not occur because excess low-melting point eutectic phases as-cast dissolve into matrix during processing. Consequently, greatly improved.
