Oxygen Isotope (18O2) Evidence on the Role of Oxygen in the Plasma-Driven Catalysis of VOC Oxidation

摘要: This paper reports isotopic evidence on nonthermal plasma-induced fixation of gas-phase oxygen the surface several catalysts such as TiO2, Ag/TiO2, Ag/γ-Al2O3 and Ag/MS-13X at atmospheric-pressure. On-line mass spectrometric analysis stoichiometric comparison reactants products revealed that fixed can be activated by plasma. The 18O plasma survived for a certain period time (about 30 min), involved in formation isotope-exchanged (18O16O) isotope containing CO x (CO CO2).
