摘要: Proteins that modulate the activity of transcription factors, often called modulators, play a critical role in creating tissue- and context-specific gene expression responses to signals cells receive. GEM (Gene Expression Modulation) is probabilistic framework predicts their affected targets mode action by combining profiles, protein-protein interactions factor-target relationships. Using GEM, we correctly predicted significant number androgen receptor modulators observed most can both act as co-activators co-repressors for different target genes.
