SOME CRITERIA FOR A POWER PRODUCING THERMONUCLEAR REACTOR

摘要: Calculations of the power balance in thermonuclear reactors operating under various idealized conditions are given. Two classes reactor considered: first, self-sustaining systems which charged reaction products trapped and, secondly, pulsed all escape so that energy must be supplied continuously during pulse. It is found not only temperature sufficiently high, but also sustained long enough for a definite fraction fuel to burnt.
