摘要: Four multiparous Holstein cows were used in a 4 x 5 incomplete Latin square design to study the effects of different dietary sources energy and protein on digestion, ruminal fermentation, degradability fed high moisture grass silage. The five treatments an all silage diet (control); concentrate containing soybean meal with corn, beet pulp, or mixture (50:50 DM basis) oats barley; fish pulp. Concentrates between .70 .76% BW give similar CP NEL intakes. Total DMI milk production lower for unsupplemented than supplemented cows, but digestion fermentation did not differ. Digestibility fiber concentration total VFA higher corn those barley, starch source had no effect composition. Energy NDF was higher, NH3 N tended be lower, pulp starch, suggesting improvement microbial synthesis rumen when instead starch.
