Pulmonary veno-occlusive disease: antemortem diagnosis from roentgenographic and hemodynamic findings

摘要: A 17-year-old boy with pulmonary veno-occlusive disease underwent Swan--Ganz catheterization. normal capillary wedge pressure was recorded in the presence of severe arterial hypertension and roentgenographic evidence venous congestion. This triad findings permitted an unequivocal diagnosis disease, which later confirmed at autopsy. The hemodynamics this condition others included differential are presented schematically.
