摘要: Abstract Objectives The aim of the overview is to critically analyse contributing factors biological wear process and screen simulators in dentistry for their capacity mimic conditions. An types wear, grouped as biotribocorrosion, combined with a description different simulating devices will allow us better understand multifactorial nature wear. Methods A search on keywords highlights most common in-vitro use laboratories various simulation applications. Results Wear complex that can hardly be simulated while controlling all variables. Especially extrapolation results in-vivo situation difficult because there lot interplay are mimic. Significance It not degree sophistication, but right mix controllable variables make simulator predictive.
