摘要: The objective of this study was to validate physician billing claims against self-reported influenza vaccination assess individual-level status. We compared responses the Canadian Community Health Survey 1.1 (CCHS) and Ontario Insurance Plan (OHIP) found moderate agreement. Using self-report as gold standard, OHIP based on using both influenza-specific general codes have high specificity positive predictive value (PPV), reasonable negative (NPV), but only fair sensitivity. are suboptimal for ascertaining status individuals because many receive their vaccinations outside doctor's offices, may be used backbone creation an immunization registry.
