摘要: Pain is a frequent problem following recent traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI). Of specific concern in the rehabilitation setting function-limiting hand pain which prevents optimal participation therapy and limits independence. A treatable etiology of SCI reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome (RSDS). The presentation RSDS patients with can be easily confused that dysesthetic (central origin) or radicular pain. Previous reports associated have not been based on clinical criteria outlined literature, treatment has evaluated by objective outcome measures. This report describes 5 cases are identified confirmed 3 phase bone scan. It suggested aggressive early intervention necessary to obtain functional minimize length hospital-based rehabilitation.
