摘要: Abstract Both pile foundations and shallow are deemed to be vulnerable significant fault deformation. However, the foundation-shallow foundation interaction in dip-slip has never been studied, authors' knowledge. This study presents results of two centrifuge tests, which a single piles subjected reverse faulting. The tests compared with ones from previous studies following conditions: free-field, only foundation, piles. show that there is between foundations. presence leads larger displacements rotations affects behaviors ways: 1) rupture diversion caused by different magnitudes distributions soil along piles; 2) prevents free deformation soil, resulting increasing stress even after outcropping.
