摘要: We investigated chemical cues among groups of zebrafish (Danio rerio) when communicating information about the risk predation. found that visual predator (tiger Oscar, Astronotus ocellatus) did not increase whole-body cortisol levels in but water conditioned by these (donor) stressed (target) conspecifics, thereby increasing cortisol. This finding was confirmed were different aquaria and communicated exclusively via transfer. result indicates stress induced target does depend on an donor zebrafish. Because participation is rejected this predation-risk communication, other chemicals from systems should be investigated.
