摘要: To the Editor.— We read with interest report by Mecklenburg and colleagues 1 of their experience acute complications associated insulin pump therapy. have also recently presented 2 an audit frequency diabetic ketoacidosis hypoglycemic coma during our use continuous subcutaneous infusion (CSII) in all 121 patients treated this technique unit since 1977. 3 would, therefore, like to comment on Seattle group's findings. The CSII treatment at Guy's Hospital was one episode per 266 patient-months, a total 1,628 patient-months' experience, representing seven episodes eight years, considerably lower than that reported from Seattle.
