摘要: In this paper, which is in four parts, I make a plea to those involved research into mathematics teaching and learning of the need acknowledge, however their work framed, that it will be located culture, not always visible reader, should made explicit. first part examine three key models culture significance for education. second further highlight impact on what children are expected by critiquing various curriculum. The third examines how informs particularities European curricula, while fourth explores culturally differences teaching. so doing researchers framed: Culture permeates all aspects educational endeavour acknowledged more explicitly than is.
