γ Radiolysis of Gaseous Carbon Dioxide at High Densities

摘要: The γ radiolysis of gaseous carbon dioxide has been investigated at 50 ± 1°C over the density range 0.2 to 0.6 g/ml. At around 0.5 g/ml, G(CO) from pure showed a very marked increase. Addition SF6 these densities efficiently reduced G(CO). From this it appears that formation monoxide results mostly charge neutralization. Examination mechanisms in gas and liquid phase, calculation on simple model indicate neutralization is geminate character. Upon addition hydrocarbons which react with oxygen atoms as well both SF6, passed through maximum reached value 2.2 higher concentrations hydrocarbons, independent density.
