摘要: We investigate the performance of inhomogeneously broadened spin ensembles as quantum memories under continuous dynamical decoupling. The role driving field is twofold: firstly, it decouples individual spins from magnetic noise; secondly, and more importantly, suppresses reshapes spectral inhomogeneity ensembles. show that a field, which itself may also be inhomogeneous over ensemble, can considerably enhance decay tails broadening distribution. This fact enables spin-ensemble-based memory to exploit effect cavity protection achieve much longer storage time. In particular, for ensemble with Lorentzian distribution, our calculations demonstrate decoupling has potential improve its time by orders magnitude state-of-the-art experimental parameters.
