A case of tuberculous epididymitis associated with Addison's disease.

摘要: A 68-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of loss appetite, easy fatigability, and skin pigmentation. Physical examination revealed that bilateral epididymides were enlarged hard without tenderness. At 7 a.m., basal cortisol level in plasma 22.4 ng/ml ACTH 318 pg/ml. The clinical diagnosis Addison's disease. Biopsy right epididymis evidence active tuberculosis. Hydrocortisone (18 mg/ day) anti-tuberculous drugs administered, patient became well regained his appetite a week.In this case, laparotomy not performed, but all findings course indicated adrenal tuberculosis most likely cause disease.CT scanning region demonstrated large, bilateral, homogenous, low density, non-enhancing mass. This is first report dealing with CT disease tuberculous epididymitis.
