摘要: A catalyst for hydrofining comprising a refractory, porous carrier and, carried thereon, metal component being catalytically active hydrogenation, characterized in that it has central pore diameter of 8 to 20 nm as measured by the nitrogen adsorption method and volume 0.56 cm3/g method, total pores having 50 or more mercury porosimetry is 0.32 more. In hydrogenative metal-removing heavy oil, exhibits not only high activity removing metals, but also capacity sedimentation metals. Such can be prepared kneading molding porous, powdery raw material which contains η-alumina main 0.75 an average particle 10 200 νm, firing resulting moldings, followed allowing resultant carry thereon.
