摘要: Abstract This paper introduces a cost-effective strategy to simulate the behavior of laminated plates by means isogeometric 3D solid elements. Exploiting high continuity spline functions and their properties, proper out-of-plane stress state is recovered from coarse displacement solution using post-processing step based on enforcement equilibrium in strong form. Appealing results are obtained method shown be particularly effective slender composite stacks with large number layers. These indeed cases where traditional (e.g., “layerwise”) approaches more computationally heavy researchers inclined look for alternatives, making proposed very attractive solution.
