摘要: A decoder and decoding method in which a syndrome generator (410) calculates vector from an erroneous codeword, error location polynominal (420) the vector, (430) determines polynominal, magnitude (440) corrected codeword (450) corrects responsive to magnitude. In intra-decoder block messaging scheme, one or more components (410, 420, 430, 440, 450) generate inactivity messages (640, 650) signal ability process data corresponding next codeword. dual Chien search (930, 940) implementation, (930) is used determine number of errors specified code word, separately calculations performed by Chien-Forney (940).
