摘要: Abstract Chemical analysis (detection and monitoring) of compounds associated with the metabolic activities an organism is at cutting edge science. Volatile metabolomics (volatolomics) are applied in a broad range applications including: biomedical research (e.g. disease diagnostic tools, personalized healthcare nutrition, etc.), toxicological exposure tool to environmental pollutants, toxic hazardous chemical environments, industrial accidents, molecular communications, forensics, safety security search rescue operations). In present review paper, overview recent advances volatolomics will be given. The main focus on volatile organic (VOCs) originating from biological secretions various organisms microorganisms, insects, plants, humans) resulting fusion information. Bench-top portable or field-deployable technologies-systems also presented discussed.
