摘要: Abstract : This System-Wide Water Resources Program (SWWRP) technical note describes software for analyzing beach profile and shoreline position data by means of Empirical Orthogonal Functions (EOFs) Patterns obtained through EOF analysis can often be related to the physical processes shaping morphology extend understanding how responds changes in forcing (e.g. wave water level conditions) or anthropogenic activities (e.g., nourishment, coastal structures). capability was added Regional Morphology Analysis Package (RMAP). After review theory literature, method is applied three examples that encompass (1) profiles measured time at a specific location, (2) surveyed various alongshore locations time, (3) shorelines different times.
