摘要: Vesicles resembling mycoplasma-like bodies were observed by electron microscopy in healthy, virus-indexed, and heat-treated, phloem parenchyma cells immature sieve tube elements ofPrunus persica Batsch. The vesicles contain ribosomes fibrils, are unit membrane bound, range from 0.2–0.4 μm diameter up to 0.7 long. Cross longitudinal serial sections show that the arise invaginations of endoplasmic reticulum into expanded cisternae actually a normal part cellular differentiation. It is suggested conclusions on mycoplasmalike body associations with “yellows-diseases” be based demonstration MLB mature rather than cells.
