摘要: INTRODUCTION Genetic recombination has been defined by Clark as the interaction of nucleic acids so to produce a change in linkage relationships between genes or parts (Clark 1971). While phenomenon recognized higher organisms for nearly three-quarters century, discovery genetic bacteria and bacteriophage some 35 years ago led considerable impetus towards determination mechanisms which it occurred. Initial were copy-choice variety (Levinthal 1954), invoked alternate copying one DNA molecule then another new, recombinant structure. However, models fell from favor with that replicated semiconservative mechanism (Meselson Stahl 1957) density-shift experiments Meselson Weigle (1961) showed phage λ involved breakage reunion molecules. The pendulum swung back somewhat realization there is definite correlation events replication bacteriophages (Stahl 1979) T7 (Burck Miller 1978; Smith 1981). Furthermore, movement transposons Mu (Arthur Sherratt 1979; Shapiro also place heavy emphasis on role replication. can be broadly classified into two types: (1) general (2) site-specific recombination. General implies rejoining takes homologous molecules likelihood comparable all...
