Microwaves in dispersive magnetic composite media (Review Article)

摘要: Review discusses some special questions of physics composite media (metamaterials), which are formed by elements made from natural materials two kinds. The first ones “carriers permittivity” and presented plasma-like semiconductors. second permeability”—they ferromagnets. Among such ferromagnets ferrodielectrics (ferrites) manganite-perovskite compounds. In the chapter review principal aspects electrodynamics periodical structures—magnetophotonic crystals considered. zone structure possible violations periodicity (Tamm states, defect mode) as well influence external magnetic field on spectral characteristics magnetophotonic is devoted to left-handed (left-handed metamaterials). Different versions Particular attention paid features artificially synthesized media, doped lanthanum manganites-perovskites, in a certain concentrations doping element temperature range can serve an example media. Appendix describes details experimental techniques radiophysical research. Note that research design metamaterials listed above low temperatures particularly important. This due fact at main disadvantage artificial mentioned (quite large losses) becomes less noticeable. At same time their advantage (namely possibility control frequency dispersion) remains. Thus it seems most prospective areas application further study lie temperatures.
