Field experience with Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR/sup TM/MV) systems

摘要: Economic pressures on industry to automate processes and improve efficiencies have resulted in a steady increase the number size of loads that are sensitive voltage sags. The Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR/sup TM/) is power electronic device which has demonstrated its ability protect loads. primary advantage DVR/sup TM/ it only needs be rated for fraction total protected load, thereby yielding very attractive cost/benefit. There an increasing these with ratings much larger than can accommodated single module. This paper describes concept successful operation multi-module MV systems at large mill semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Field experience world's first overhead platform-mounted system also described.
