摘要: The planning profession has been advocated as an untapped resource for obesity prevention, but little is known about how planners view their roles and responsibilities in this area. This paper investigates the role of Healthy Towns programme England, explores limits potential prevention within policy practice. Using a qualitative approach, 23 stakeholders were interviewed, identifying public health, particularly ‘health proofing’ local policy. National governments should better align health policies to support collaboration between practitioners.
