摘要: All Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) have been going through a severe agricultural depression since their centrally planned economies collapsed in the early 1990s. It has now become clear that transition process is far more complex likely to be much protracted than was first expected. The policies of Communist era resulted considerable environmental problems, which are still present varying degrees even after decrease inputs during past ten years. On other hand, CEECs retain significant proportion Europe' s biodiversity. existing low input intensity agriculture practised these countries can perceived certain respects as an opportunity for sustainability sector. However, view future EU membership accompanying policies, question what extent requirements protection nature conservation will taken into account CEECs' policy formation. paper presents preliminary survey agri-environmental problems relevant regulations identifies challenges
