摘要: Aims Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus–plant symbiosis may induce morphological, physiological and/or biochemical changes in the host plants. This study was performed to investigate effects of AM fungi on Phragmites australis (Cav.) Trin ex. Steudel. Methods and Results Funnelliformis mosseae Rhizophagus irregularis were chosen as inocula, detailed attributes related seedling performance (from seed five-leaf stage), rhizospheric conditions micro-organisms measured compared. Both fungal inocula accelerated germination enhanced growth development, especially underground tissues, seedlings. Specifically, colonization improved photosynthetic efficiency, soil respiration absorption certain nutrients Ph. australis seedlings well microbial metabolic activity richness different extents. However, decreased diversity suggested that communities are specific selective. Conclusions As a whole, F. mosseae showed greater improvements than R. irregularis. In addition, potential applications ‘bio-accelerator’, ‘biofortifier’, ‘bio-enhancer’ phyto-rhizoremediation have been discussed. Significance Impact Study The main findings could preliminarily reveal mechanisms behind symbioses be referred when optimizing combined before practical take place.
