摘要: For the first time it was possible to investigate a still poorly known region of eastern Mediterranean Sea, Libyan continental margin. An oceanographic cruise, performed during summer 2006, revealed an important and novel feature: dense vein flowing along slope. The paper describes evolution with some insights on its dynamic furnishes estimate transport, which results be comparable Adriatic Deep Water production rate. cascading into steep canyon incises shelf suggests that may play role in ventilating deep layers Ionian Sea.
