摘要: Novel antibacterial and biocompatible transparent films based on chitosan or pullulan two bioactive ionic liquids (ILs), cholinium hexanoate citrate, were prepared. These ILs selected their MIC values against several microbial strains, film-forming ability when blended with the polysaccharides biocompatibility designated human cell lines. The obtained through simple casting of polysaccharide aqueous solutions containing different amounts (20 40 wt% respect to amount polysaccharide). physical properties investigated using transmittance measurements, thermal analysis, mechanical testing assays. In general, addition both does not affect optical transparency (up 80% within 400–700 nm) but decreased stiffness (acting as plasticizers) stability. All chitosan-based showed activity S. aureus K. pneumoniae for only those citrate bioactive.
