摘要: The increasing demand of potable water as well process is leading to scarcity readily available resources in many regions the world. In order preserve fresh waste reclamation can serve a promising but technically challenging alternative conventional sources. Besides pathogens, organic trace pollutants cause major concerns schemes. this project, removal four micropollutants, more specifically bisphenol A, 17α-ethinylestradiol, 5-fluorouracil and cytarabine, from municipal wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) effluent was studied laboratory scale experiments spiking pilot combining sorption powdered activated carbon (PAC) retention by capillary nanofiltration (NF). Laboratory evaluating adsorption isotherms kinetics showed decreased capacities increased affinities presence natural matter. Spiking that combination PAC NF retains micropollutants significantly better than direct NF. Retention lipophilic up 99.9%. Therefore, PAC/NF be considered an effective way treat WWTP for reuse.
