摘要: The purpose of this study was to identify the manifestation lower extremity atherosclerotic lesions in patients with high ankle-brachial index (ABI). We studied 92 diabetic at random from Endocrine Department Chinese PLA General Hospital. According ABI value, subjects were divided into three groups: high, normal and low groups. On basis results artery duplex ultrasound, group had a incidence occlusion than those group, mainly displayed diffuse dot-like hyperechogenicity spots or small plaques (60.9%), their mostly found distal segment (44.4%). This atherosclerosis extremities shown be consistent pathological features intimal medial calcification. It suggests that is highly predictive calcification, which marker poor cardiovascular prognosis diabetes. Br J Diabetes Vasc Dis 2009;9:160–164
