摘要: Recently we reported that human recombinant acidic fibroblast growth factor (aFGF) is capable of preventing degeneration nucleus basalis magnocellularis neurons in vivo and inducing astrocytes vitro. In the present study, effects aFGF on concentration nerve (NGF) its messenger RNA were investigated rat cerebral cortex following unilateral cortical infarction. Lesioned animals exhibited a significant increase NGF remaining ipsilateral to lesion. After combining lesion with intracerebroventricular application (12 μg/day for 7 days), observed an 8-fold marked level steady state mRNA relative controls ipsilaterally, less pronounced effect contralateral cortex. These results support hypothesis neurotrophic previously shown basic FGF (bFGF) neurotrophin-sensitive mediated by increased production within injured central nervous system (CNS) adult animals.
