摘要: • The effects of botulinum A toxin injections for the treatment facial spasm were analyzed 22 patients. Sixteen patients had unoperated on essential blepharospasm, three blepharospasm with residual following previous surgical treatment, and hemifacial spasm. Treatment was effective most patients, but transient, mean interval relief after first being ten weeks. injection reduced maximum lid force by about 10%. While side common, they generally mild well tolerated. No cumulative effect evident in those receiving series injections. There is no significant difference either free or rate lid-force recovery any sequential increasing doses toxin.
