摘要: The Danube River and its tributary, the Drava, define northern limits of Balkan Peninsula. This peninsula is drained by many rivers flowing in all directions, has lakes, largest being Ohrid, Prespa, Skutari (or Skadar), Ioannina. aquatic fauna not simple, as each river basin, lake or mountain range own faunal peculiarities.
