摘要: A study of SO4•− in neat organic solvents by laser photolytic and pulse radiolytic methods has been described for the first time. The sulfate radical was produced CH3CN CHCl3 photolysis (CTA)2S2O8 (CTA = cetyltrimethylammonium), or ia reduction (CTA)2S2O8 with a reducing species from radiolysis. quantum yield SO4•− 30% higher than water, based on our experimental results. reacts slowly CH3CN, but rapidly to form •CCl3 which is further converted into CCl3O2• presence oxygen. Rate constants hydrogen abstraction alkanols were lower 1–2 orders magnitude aqueous solutions.
