STUDY OF THREE HUNDRED EIGHT OPERATIONS FOR STRICTURE OF BILE DUCTS

摘要: The late results of operations to correct stricture the bile ducts were investigated in 265 patients who responded requests for follow-up study. They had undergone altogether 308 from 1 25 years before time In every case but one followed surgical injury. done usually either choledochocholedochostomy or choledochoduodenostomy, and these two about same, with 68 69% good excellent reporting. Even when strictures so located that no patent extrahepatic duct was visible, it often possible relieve biliary obstruction by special procedures. Two pregnant at operation, there 19 subsequent deliveries 14 patients, all delivery being normal, full-term, spontaneous.
