摘要: Coccidiosis is a complex disease that affects many farm animals, but which can be especially serious in poultry. Control of coccidiosis essential for efficient, modern poultry productions; thus coccidiostats are extensively used to control this disease. The most commonly the polyether monocarboxylic ionophores including monensin and salinomycin. Polyether also improve feed utilization by ruminants. However, quantity such effective chickens may prove highly toxic other agriculturally important animals. Over past few years, we have developed monoclonal antibody‐based immunoassays both salinomycin monensin. In addition, dimetridazole halofuginone, latter being heavily non‐ionophore coccidiostat. advantages over conventional analytical methods discussed as well characteristics individual immunoassays.
